A little visitor watches a chick being
hatched in our hatchery. Chicks and Ducklings hatch for
about 4 mths over Spring and Summer.

Brushtail Possum with baby in our produce
shed - this possum has a baby every year at Morvern.

A very special guest Jacinta with little Gita when he was first
born. Gita needed to be bottle fed and was really tiny, but now is a
strong and fit Ram fathering his own lambs in the next 3-4 months.

We breed heritage poultry, Welsh Harlquin
champion ducks - we have ducklings each Spring. We have just
been awarded the first second prize and the Champion at the
2010 Sydney Royal Easter Show. |

This is Domingo's full blood brother
T.J. and just like his brother, he loves carrots, slices of
bread, apples and attention.

Little Gita stole our hearts and so has found a permanent home
here at Morvern, and as he has been bottle fed he is very social, if
you are patient and quiet he will come up for some hay or grass from
your hands

Charlie and his two friends Shorty and
Fluffy Face. We have affectionately nicknamed them the Three
Amigos as they really are inseparable.

Huge mobs are to be seen in The Southern
Highlands in our village -just a minutes drive away, also a lone kangaroo or Wallaby
often finds its way to Morvern Valley

Lightning Jack - the most wonderful pony
in the world.
|

This is Oscar he came to live at Morvern
Valley after doing preschool show-and-tells. He is a lovely
natured gentle alpaca and will come up to see who arrives.
He is firmly the boss of the younger Three Amigos.

Fudge loves being brushed and cuddled by
young visitors especially if his nose is in a hay basket.

'Wool' is our latest Suffolk sheep addition
and is the wife to Gita our Ram.

Ducks and Geese will eat out of your
hand. We specialize in quite a range of duck breeds
including Saxony, Indian Runners and Khaki Campbell. Each
cottage has its own coop with a specific breed.

Each spring our Toulouse goose has goslings

Little Baa Baa and Black Sheep were born
in September 09 at Morvern Valley. When first born they are
fully black and they keep close to their
mums. Slowly their body fleece is turning white like their
mum's.
