A lovingly restored 1930's Country Cottage - Morvern Valley has been a guest property for a hundred years. The homestead is exclusive to you and your group, quite suitable for just a romantic couple all by themselves, or a group of up to six adults and two children.                                                                                                   

There are three bedrooms tastefully decorated in different themes, the Tudor Room is decorated in rich green and gold damasks, the Romance Room with light whites, muslin net and a great four poster antique bed. The Third bedroom is all country with ginghams and homestitched patchwork Quilts on a fabulous black and gold double antique four poster.

Wicker chairs through the french doors leading to yet another area of the verandah There is an extra single day bed in the dining, and a single sofa bed in the lounge - very suitable for children, bringing the maximum amount of guests in this self catering accommodation to eight.

Relax in comfy armchairs in front of the open wood log fire in the lounge room, or dine by a romantic fire in the dining room fireplace - please ask us and we will be happy to organise the dining room fireplace to be set up for you. There are many videos, card games, books and games for all ages. Toast marshmallows in front of the roaring open fires and make memories – marshmallows are provided !
Dining room overlooks the paddocks, there is a fireplace in the room too for cosy romantic suppers.
Morvern valley is located down a quiet country lane, you can easily walk the 500 metres up to the shops to buy some fresh croissants in teh morning or the newspapers!

There are two lovely log open fireplaces, and electric heating in the other rooms, fluffy feather doonas and electric blankets for cooler weather and a sunny verandah and terrace allow you to enjoy this self-contained Southern Highland accomodation retreat in year round comfort.

The brand new bathroom has a double spa bath (with a heat pump for long enjoyable spas), shower, and toilet. The bathroom is very attractive and has been styled with antique style fitments. An extra additional toilet is also available.

The fully facilitated original kitchen contains all the modern conveniences, a new electric stove and oven, fridge and freezer, microwave and all utensils needed to cater for up to eight.

There is a BBQ area with chairs and tables – why not cook up a storm!

A Laundry with a washing machine and a compact moveable clothes line is also provided for your convenience - for drying out in the sun, or in front of the fire depending on the time of year.
